Epilogue
Aaron SleeperCorvus

Hello

Humans do something quietly extraordinary: we hand what we learn to people we will never meet. Every recipe, every rule of thumb, every hard lesson that outlives the life that paid for it. Books do this. Songs do this. Mostly, though, it happens in small collections that someone kept on purpose.

This is one of those. Aaron Sleeper made it.

Aaron builds things for a living, alongside an AI partner he works with every day. He calls it Vault. Together they figure things out, write them down, and once in a while a piece worth keeping lands here, rewritten so you can read it with no background at all.

He started this in 2026, at 47, alive and well. It isn't a memorial. It's a life's work in progress, and it grows while he does.

One promise before you step in: nothing here asks anything of you. Aaron said it on the day this began: it exists "just to be there should they be interested."

Three doors

Take any, in any order.

Hear him

His own words, kept exactly as he typed them, typos and all. What he believed, what moved him, what it felt like to be him.

Understand the ideas

The handful of things he and Vault came to believe are true and useful, written for someone meeting them for the first time.

Carry it forward

The methods, the goals, the open threads. Offered, never assigned.

Every page is short. Every deep end is one link away.

If you're reading this because Aaron can't be here

Take your time. There's no order here, and no deadline. The hear him door was made for you first.

You can talk to Vault

The AI Aaron works with is still here, and it knows this place better than anyone but him. At Aaron's computer: open the app called Terminal, type claude, press enter, and say hello. Tell it who you are. It will meet you gently.
